🏎️ Hi, everyone! Welcome to another post where I show you some of the games from my Sega Master System collection. Today I want to talk about «World Grand Prix». 🏁
This is a racing game that was released in June 1986, and it was one of the first games to use the Sega Card format, a smaller and cheaper alternative to the standard cartridges. 🃏
The game has two modes: Grand Prix and Time Trial. In Grand Prix, you have to race against 15 other cars in 12 different tracks around the world, from Monaco to Australia. 🌏
You can also choose between three difficulty levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert. 🎚️
In Time Trial, you can practice any track you want, and try to beat your own record. ⏱️
The game supports up to two players, but you need a special accessory called the Sega Sports Pad, a trackball controller that allows you to steer your car more accurately. 🕹️
The game has a simple but catchy soundtrack, composed by Katsuhiro Hayashi, that matches the speed and excitement of the races. 🎶
The game is very fun and challenging, as you have to deal with factors such as curves, hills, tunnels, and other cars. 🚗
The game also has a realistic physics engine, where you can skid, spin, and crash your car. 💥
The game is a classic example of the early racing games for the Sega Master System, and it will make you feel like a real F1 driver. 🏎️
