🐒 Hello, fellow gamers! Today I want to share with you one of the games from my collection: «Donkey Kong Land III» for Nintendo GameBoy. 🎮
This game was released in October 1997, and it is the third and final installment of the Donkey Kong Land series. It is a platformer game that follows the adventures of Dixie Kong and her cousin Kiddy Kong, as they try to find the Lost World before King K. Rool and his Kremling Krew. 🌴
The game features 36 levels across six worlds, each with a different theme and a boss at the end. The levels are full of enemies, obstacles, secrets, and collectibles. 🕹️Some of the levels require the use of animal buddies, such as Squitter the spider, Squawks the parrot, or Ellie the elephant. 🐘
The game also has a multiplayer mode, where two players can compete or cooperate using the Game Link Cable. The multiplayer mode has three options: Contest, Race, and Tag Team. In Contest, the players compete to see who can collect the most bananas in a level. In Race, the players race to see who can finish a level faster. In Tag Team, the players take turns to control Dixie or Kiddy, and can switch at any time. 🕹️
One of the things that I like about this game is the music. The game has a catchy soundtrack composed by David Wise, who also worked on the Donkey Kong Country series. Some of the songs are remixes of the ones from Donkey Kong Country 3, while others are original. The music fits well with the mood and atmosphere of each level. 🎵
